What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love seeing students gain an understanding and an interest in what they are learning. I want to be able to help students understand that what they are learning now can be applied in the real world.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am someone who understands that all the mathematics that high schoolers are learning has a practical use. I am also studying to become a secondary school mathematics teacher, which will help me to be able to know all the content that students might need tutoring for.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor needs to be able to understand where the student is academically, what they currently understand and what holes they have in their knowledge. They are not a teacher, but are there to help reinforce and strengthen what their teacher is currently going over. A tutor should be helping the student to understand the content through linking concepts together, in a way that helps develop the students ability to learn on their own.
