What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the reward of seeing someone be able to crack the barrier preventing them from understanding an idea/concept that they previously struggled with. Watching people succeed under your guidance is a very fulfilling reward.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

When it comes to tutoring, I guess I'd say I'm pretty good at approaching concepts from multiple angles. If someone doesn't get it the first time, I can explain it differently and try to tailor the way I explain things to match the needs of the student. Additionally, as a soon-to-graduate Year 12 student (planning to study Education & Mathematics next year), I have a familiar relationship with the requirements laid out by NESA.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to understand the needs of their student and develop effective resources that work for THAT student. It is also important to recognise what kind of work load people are capable of handling so that you do not overwhelm them with tasks, as this would be counterproductive. So I guess, just being keenly aware of the learning needs of each student. That's definitely the big thing for me when I try to teach other people.
