What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy supporting the learning of students and assisting in them in achieving their learning goals and in their personal development. I particularly enjoy forming positive relationships with students, identifying their strengths and learning needs and using this information to plan or deliver lessons as well as provide a positive and engaging learning environment for them. I also enjoy the process of learning about the student, determining effective tutoring strategies, as well as communicating this to the parents, working with them to maximise a student's achievements.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Particular strengths include assessing students' understanding of concepts and demonstrating them in ways that cater to the students' learning styles. I also prepare resources aimed at developing specific skills and understanding and I include fun activities both to address a student's learning needs and to make the lessons fun and engaging. For each client, I discuss the student's nd parents' goals and expectations and provide detailed feedback about the student's progress. As I learn about more about my students, I can find innovative ways to explain or demonstrate content to them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

To act as a mentor, providing a student encouragement and support when they are having difficulty and acknowledging and celebrating their achievements, as well as supporting the student to achieve their individual goals, to acknowledge the student's strengths, interests and passions and support students to engage with them. To assist a student to develop both personal and academic skills as well as self-confidence and wellbeing. To make a student's education a positive experience, helping them enjoy subjects and to stay motivated to do their best and become independent learners.
