What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I love learning, and so the thing I enjoy the most is seeing others grow in their learning and develop deep understandings. Personally I love the moments where I suddenly realise and understand something, and those moments of joy are what I enjoy the most seeing in students when tutoring!My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I want to see my students succeed, and for them to understand and learn in the way that best works for them. I understand that people learn in many ways, and as a tutor, I strive to teach in engaging and in ways that are personally meaningful to them. Tutors cannot think for their students, but what they can do is guide their students to an understanding. This means facilitating understanding by providing a space for students to ask their own questions, receive helpful answers, and be guided through any difficult topics. I believe tutors must teach alongside students by teaching them strategies in which they can approach problems and break them down into more simple, manageable ones (a skill essential to programming).
