What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy being able to share my experience of school, as well as teaching younger students. I gain satisfaction when I am able to teach people concepts and they are able to then understand them. I find that a student's gradual and steady progress is the most important thing when working with a tutor, and being able to observe this improvement is very pleasant.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that I have patience as a tutor, and the ability to connect with students as a high school graduate. Communicating is also a strength I have, especially for younger years. A tutor should provide a student a "light-bulb" moment, where they suddenly understand a concept, gain an idea or know how to answer a question. Light-bulb moments allow students to gain confidence in the subject, and thus achieve the goal of a higher mark. I believe it is also important for tutors to provide tips for dealing with stress, especially in the later primary school years during Selective Testing, OC, and in high school during exams.
