What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Having been a high achiever in mathematics for most of my schooling years, I understand and appreciate the logic and structure associated with mathematics. Despite this, I have personally experienced the difficulty comprehending the fundamentals and realise the invaluable service that tutoring offers to help with this. I find it incredibly fulfilling that I can utilise my abilities to help others navigate these areas, providing them with the same patience and assistance that was given to me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have extensive experience in tutoring, both as an individual and in a firm. From this, I have developed strong communication skills, learning how to effectively simplify complex ideas and effectively explain them. I have learnt how to adapt to different situations, learning to change my approach for every student to suit their abilities and learning styles. From working with students of vastly different ability levels, I have developed patience and dedication, staying relaxed and clear headed for long durations of time to ensure that they fully understand the concept being taught.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor should always appear calm and patient, providing the student with encouragement and support. This is to ensure the tutor does not cause any additional counterproductive stress to the student. However, a tutor should be honest to a student with the work to be done, as only then will the student gain the quality service they deserve. A tutor must be organised and clear, understanding and implementing the lesson structure so as to ensure the student is being taught efficiently and therefore getting the best education they can. A tutor should be dedicated to ensuring the student develops.
