What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like the moment when something finally clicks for a student, where the concept I've been teaching them suddenly makes sense to them. Its pretty rewarding to see the work I've put into explaining something to them come to fruition.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I adapt to specific student's different learning styles, whether they best learn through diagrams, step-by-step examples, real world metaphors, or by any other activity. I like to adapt my methods in this way because every student is different, and it helps meet each student's needs and resonate with them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Probably to make sure they understand the underlying material rather than just giving the answers. Helping them through problems, and actually encouraging and motivating them along without just revealing the answers will help develop their problem solving skills, making the next problems easier to overcome.

About Aeson

Passionate and Dedicated Tutor

I’m a motivated and hardworking individual who thrives on learning and helping others grow. With experience as a high school subject leader and time spent shadowing professionals in medical settings, I’ve developed strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. I enjoy problem-solving and working both independently and in teams, which allows me to create a supportive and engaging tutoring environment where students feel confident and motivated.

Experience

As a subject leader at high school, I honed my patience and ability to explain concepts clearly, which are two essential qualities in a tutor. My teamwork and adaptability have been further strengthened through my work in the St John Ambulance Cadets. I’ve also developed a strong sense of independence through hands-on work in chemistry and physics. These experiences help me not only guide students academically but also boost their confidence and problem-solving skills.

Proven Academic Record

My academic achievements reflect my dedication to learning. I earned top grades in key subjects, getting high grades in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Now, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Physics and Chemistry at the University of Sydney, which continues to expand my knowledge. My strong academic background fuels my passion for teaching, so I’m committed to helping students reach their full potential.
