What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing the progress the students make and knowing that I contributed to that. Seeing them finally understand a concept they have been struggling with is very rewarding, and makes the process of reaching their goals, although sometimes challenging, absolutely worth it.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I know the importance of being patient with the students, and ensuring they are not afraid to ask questions or admit they don't understand something, as I remember being in their shoes. It is important to remember that they do not have the same knowledge as you, and therefore I make sure I am kind and understanding and don't make them feel inadequate. However, it is still necessary to identify their weaknesses, tell them what they have to work on but assure them that it may take time and that that's ok. Additionally, I make sure to cater to each students specific needs.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do is to practice empathy in order to ensure the student knows they're in a safe environment where they are allowed to make mistakes and learn from them. Being kind and really listening to what they say to you is also essential, as you don't want them to feel like they can't talk to you, as this will result in no progress being made.
