I enjoy creating a relationship with students that enables us to work together towards academic improvement. I find the experience very rewarding and fun!

I think that Iβm good at connecting with students and building a relationship. I am a very enthusiastic person and I believe that lends itself to creating an engaging environment for students to learn. During high school I did a range of advanced subjects, giving me the skills and knowledge needed to tutor a range of students.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think that students generally need a lot of support, and that a tutor should be able to provide an avenue through which a student is able to feel comfortable, supported and encouraged.

We will continue to work on doing longer and more complex equations and expansions. I will also start introducing Olivia to other, Year 8 style questions and concepts.

Grace is very good at applying BIDMAS to complex problems, and using mental strategies to work out simple addition, multiplication, division and subtraction. She also picked up the concept of 'substitution' very quickly from the year 7 textbook.
Grace was not as confident with the algebra questions that we went through from the year 7 content. This is however understandable, and we continue to develop the basic skills needed to master these questions.
