In my opinion, there are two most important things that a tutor can do for a student. Firstly, a tutor should be able to help students reemphasize key ideas of main concepts so that students have a strong base knowledge. Understanding the main intuition fully is crucial for students to be confident in the subject and further build up more knowledge of that concept, just like building a house requires a good foundation first.
