What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Seeing students journey from struggling to excelling in their academics is highly gratifying and ultimately motivates me as a tutor to strive to provide the best quality education I can. I have always enjoyed being able to assist in other's learning wherever possible, this has allowed me to build connections and develop my skills in academia. Tutoring allows for flexibility unlike any other career, not only for the student but the tutor as well, as I can curate my lesson plans to the student's specific needs.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Early in my secondary education, I self-taught myself many difficult topics such as combinatorics, which required me to develop a keen insight into strategies to deconstruct arduous questions. As an informal tutor, I have shown immense patience when teaching my peers, as I too initially struggled with many concepts. However, I can decompose or elevate concepts to simplify explanations or challenge students' thinking, which is an imperative skill in articulating lesson plans specific to the students' target areas.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The traditional school provides a teaching method for the general student, however, tutoring allows for students' specific needs to be met, whether they're not being challenged enough at school or require additional assistance. Curating lesson plans that target areas of improvement and application through constant revision is pivotal to any learning approach and is not always ensured within schools. Tutors are additionally able to provide tips and nuanced methods to tackle difficult questions through their vast experience -tips that are not generally taught in schools.
