What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find tutoring to be a very enriching experience as I see it as an opportunity for growth for both the student and the teacher. Also, in general, I always like to see the journey a student takes with their education, and see if my guidance can help them further cultivate their strengths, whilst also allowing them to overcome their weaknesses in learning a difficult concept. Essentially, I like seeing people grow and succeed, as always a great feeling for me whenever I see the people that I tutor go on to do and achieve amazing results down the line.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have been often told by the parents of my students, that their children find me easy to talk to in my classroom. As a tutor, I would say that I value my ability to always be a good listener and engager with my students, as whenever I would start the lesson, I would try to have a casual conversation with them so that they can feel less nervous and be more comfortable with their surroundings. Another key strength of mine is that I am always kind and considerate of any student that I teach, and will always be there to help them when necessary, even outside work hours, as there are my students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that a tutor should be able to help the student both grow as a person and mentally with their learning. In a hindsight, a tutor is someone they can trust and rely on with regards to getting help for homework, learning new concepts, and getting advice regarding exam and assessment task preparations. So as such, if the tutor can enable a positive change within a student's learning experience and hence provide them with the skills and foundational knowledge to become a studious learner, then those are the most important things I believe a tutor can do for any student that they teach.
