What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

In my previous experience as a tutor, I found that the thing I enjoyed the most was the satisfaction and happiness I would experience when I would teach a concept to a student and they would slowly be able to understand it to the extent to which I do. Observing how in each tutoring session they came out learning something new gave me great fulfilment and made me enjoy my job.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor include my strong communication skills, whereby I can easiuly communicate with my students and understand any areas of difficulty. I am also a very understanding person and understand that different people have different learning styles and some students may take longer to comprehend some concepts compared to others. This strength allows me to connect individually with the students and be understanding when some may take longer to pick up on some concepts compared to others.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I consider the most important thing a tutor can do for a student to be to foster a growth mindset. By creating a positive workplace where students are encouraged to ask questions, it enables students to take initiative over their own learning and not fear failure. This would foster faster improvements in their academics, whilst also improving their mental health when they may be under stress.
