What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The ability to be able to share your own understanding regarding a concept or idea with someone else, and to witness their improved understanding because of it.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Patience. I am willing to spend as much time and effort needed for a student to understand a concept. I am understanding of how difficult it can be, and am willing to try explaining things in other ways if needed. I do not like to give up on people. If someone is under my tutoring, I take full responsibility for their learning. I am sympathetic to my students. To me, factors such as the mental wellbeing and health of the student is important too. As of such, I will be more understanding of students' circumstances, such as not being to hand in homework in time due to problems at home etc..

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

To be able to explain concepts that seem complex to students, with clarity. Not only that, but to build a student's confidence in their own ability. Many students are not receiving the proper support they need for a particular subject at school; it may be too hard, it may not come off as interesting or it may not come off as useful to their life. I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to address those points. Some students just need a little extra support regarding some concepts. As tutors, we should be there to provide that little extra support. My goal is to help students become confident to succeed in life on their own.
