A tutor can improve one's overall understand of the subject, not just a specific understanding about a material. That is important because it is building the bigger picture of each subject in the long term. I am flexible in my teaching method, and I am able to adjust to each student depending on what they…
I believe that teaching is not about pumping a student with exam papers or to make them memorise the answers and get good grades, for my satisfaction. But about really making sure the student understands a concept, so that they have a strong foundation and can apply to it many different question styles. This will actively stimulate creativity and…

I think the most important role of the tutor is to analyse and reflect on a student's learning and problem-solving approach methods, in order to provide meaningful adjustments for greater comfort and confidence going forward. In other words, the identification of barriers to learning is the most crucial point of a biology tutor's action, as it is…

As a biology tutor, I could assist students to understand their subjects by motivating them involving an interactive class with students. The most important thing a biology tutor can do for a student is reassure them that it is perfectly normal to not understand a topic straight away. I believe the two most important things tutors can do for their students is: to give detailed feedback on a student’s work, recognising their weaknesses and discussing the specific questions in detail, whilst congratulating the student on their correct answers; and to ensure that the student never feels ‘dumb’, leading to them feeling…
I have some results to report. Wari has sat three tests in the last week or so, the results are: Maths - 95.5%; Chemistry - 100%; Economics - 77% (no coaching in this subject). We are very happy with these results, especially the chemistry one as she has had the most trouble with that subject. Last week, before the Friday chemistry test they did two hours on chemistry, she found the lessons very hard, but the following test very straight forward. In the maths test, she actually did all the calculations correctly but lost marks for rounding an answer incorrectly and rounding a couple of other answers when she shouldn't have! We are very happy with Alexander's teaching, although we are not sitting in the room, he sounds very clear and concise. Another very important thing to consider is that she is very happy with her results and is gaining more self confidence, and, I think, is generally more relaxed and happy with life.
More importantly, I want to let you know that Hannah, Peter and I are very happy with Phal - she's super smart, friendly and a great communicator. She's lifted Hannah's confidence within a few short weeks and, circumstances permitting, we look forward to a long and productive tutoring association with her.
I am 100% satisfied with your company and Rick, Alanahs tutor. I will definately call on you if the need arises again and won't hesitate in recommending you if anyone I know required tutoring services.
Biology tutoring in Glengowrie
For most students, biology doesn't seem that hard. The content isn't that intimidating and if you put in the time, more often than not results will follow.
No wonder most students get discouraged once they move up the curriculum. Getting the results becomes less about putting in the hours by going over the concepts and more about structuring the knowledge and connecting the dots. It's not simple revision anymore, and without someone to guide them, students can easily lose focus.
If you are thinking about finding someone to support your child's learning, we can match you with a local biology tutor in Glengowrie.
We've found that through guided learning, students are more likely to pick up skills they can use to learn other subjects and even make good decisions in their personal life as well. All we need is to have a chat with you so we can figure out what kind of support your child needs.
And this is how it works.
The tutoring is done at your home or a local library, wherever works for you. And the fees are simple - just an hourly rate, no extra fees.
The first lesson comes as a risk-free trial with a money-back guarantee. That means if for whatever reason your child doesn't click with the tutor right away, no need to worry - you let us know and we set up another trial.
As simple as that.
