What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Personally, being able to share my passion and insights with my students and being able to witness a studentβs growth, progress and increased self confidence is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. Additionally, being able to form meaningful connections with students and seeing students grasp and apply their knowledge provides the most joy to me as a tutor.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
As a tutor, one of my biggest strengths is recognising individual strengths, weaknesses and goals of their students, tailoring my teaching methods and strategies accordingly. I am able to recognise the importance of identifying and addressing the specific challenges or gaps in a student's understanding and breaking down complex problems into manageable steps, guiding students towards finding their own solutions and developing problem-solving skills.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe it is crucial for tutors to understand that every student is unique and has different learning journeys. Thus, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of the students by providing a variety of learning tools and strategies is key. Additionally, being able to be their support system and create an environment for them where they are confident and comfortable to voice their learning is pivotal.
