What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Tutoring is a very rewarding job that I think really makes a difference in childrens lives. The idea that I change how a student views something they were previously unable to master is what I look forward to most. I especially cherish moments when a math concept finally clicks in a students mind and they try explaining it back to me all excitedly.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I get along well with kids and dont rush them. Ive learned that conceptual teaching is a 100 times more effective than computational teaching, which is what I try to implement during my lessons. Patience and praise are two very important things that primary kids need to be given.Most important things I can do for a student π
1. Be patient 2. Cater the lesson to each individual student, since everyone learns differently 3. Make a comfortable environment so they arent embarrased or ashamed to make mistakes 4. Provide lots and lots of praise and encouragement.
