What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Although I have not formally tutored yet, the thing I would enjoy most about it is simply the act of teaching itself. As, when I teach people the piano, it always feels extremely gratifying to know that my advice has helped someone to achieve their goals.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
Firstly, I achieved highly in Year 12 Maths Methods, Chemistry and Biology and gave a thorough understanding of each subject. Secondly, Iβm patient, understanding, and willing to develop a personal one-to-one connection with each student, in order to create a calm and comfortable learning environment.Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe the two most important things tutors can do for their students is: to give detailed feedback on a studentβs work, recognising their weaknesses and discussing the specific questions in detail, whilst congratulating the student on their correct answers; and to ensure that the student never feels βdumbβ, leading to them feeling embarrassed or afraid to ask questions, but rather to create a light-hearted, friendly environment that still has an underlying foundation of educational discipline, to allow the student to excel in an optimal environment.Subjects Tutored π
