What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple intuitive forms and then understanding how to shape it in a way understandable to the student. This is a challenge which I enjoy.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am currently doing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at University of Melbourne. I did my undergraduate studies in Biomedical engineering and emerged as the valedictorian in one of the top universities in Sri Lanka. I have tutored students in various rigorous engineering subjects and my strength is the ability to break down complex concepts in easy to understand intuitive form. I am also a trained public speaker (Toastmasters) so I can speak eloquently and clearly without a strong accent.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Empathy: Understand how the student is feeling or understood a particular concept based on their behavioural and body language cues. This is because most students do not give explicit feedback. Understanding the student's learning pace: Every student is unique and have their own pace of learning. As a tutor you need to adapt to that.
