What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I most enjoy about tutoring is noticing consistent progress. Whilst progress may mean something different to each student, the reward remains the same.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I have a natural ability to build and maintain a personal connection with each student, allowing the student to trust me and vice versa. Once both the student and the teacher are comfortable, confidence shines through on both parts.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I consider one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is build their confidence. Once this is established and the student has faith in their own abilities, the tutor is able to guide and facilitate their learning as a pose to simply instruct. The role of the tutor is to recognise what the student is capable of doing on their own and what the student is capable of doing with assistance. With this information they are then able to scaffold learning accordingly.
