What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Although I haven't professionally tutored before, I got an opportunity to go for a two days training in a kids academy in Japan.
During that training period, I found how curious, children are willing to learn new ideas and how they wanted to learn faster when they are challenged and also rewarded. The most amusing part for me when tutoring is when they ask questions. "Teacher, how can I do this and how can I do that?". This makes me curious to find different ways to explain the problem, so that they understand the concept properly.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor my greatest strength would be finding creative ways to teach a student. I'm also a very creative individual, so I know how to find effective ways to keep the lesson interesting and engaging.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
For a tutor, the most important thing is to increase the curiosity of the student, for the subject that they are learning. Exams are important. However, at the end of the day I believe, the knowledge gained through the subject matter is far more important because it is something that can help to shape the future of the student.
For example, talking from my own personal experience at my university, I recognized how I want to dig deeper into the subjects where I was directed the right way, without my lecturers teaching me the correct answer.
