What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I most enjoy seeing a student noticeably improve from suggestions I make to them. When a student visibly understands and then implements/follows my suggestions I can see them in real time improving and learning. This reassures me that I am undertaking my role well and they are having a positive experience.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

As a recent high school graduate, I can lend an empathetic ear to the student and maintain comprehensive understanding of their work. Sometimes the difference between a good or great mark comes down to the understanding of the assessment task structure and content, which I can provide. For example, a year 9 science report on the electromagnetic spectrum can only be improved by an educated HSC physics student's deeper knowledge into this area. Or, a Advanced English student looking over a year 7 essay can help them to develop a fundamental structure to carry on into their senior years.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

Most importantly to a student a tutor is there to provide a student with the most positive, educational experience that suits the student's needs. A tutor must be adaptable to different learning styles and needs, adjusting to what is most beneficial to the student.
