What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

- It's the sense of achievement when I finish teaching a topic for today's lesson, because I don't want to miss out a single lesson on important knowledge. - It's the happiest and fulfilled feelings when the kids feel relieved and say "Ah, I understood", after I help them to solve a curiosity, an issue that has gotten on their nerves

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

- Patience: I understand the importance of being patient while educating kids, who are active and easy to be distracted from the lesson. I've assisted my younger sister, who is in year 6, to study English and Maths; thus, I could grasp kids' behavioural psychology and figure out the innovation for them to be focused and engaged in the lesson. - Time management and know the goal: I would set a goal for me and the student at the beginning of the lesson; in order to ensure the efficiency of delivering concepts quickly and on time.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Attentive listening and keep everything simple: it's deducted from the informal tutor experience that lecturing over hours and hours isn't a good way to help the kids. I tend to ask question like "Did you get it? Was it confusing?" and using simple words to explain the concepts, instead of overwhelming them with a pile of information or technical explanation - Engagement: I would alternate different activities related to the lesson (short answer, multiple choices) to keep students focused and not getting bored easily. By doing that, I ensure the efficiency of teaching.
