What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to help others improve their understanding in a way that they enjoy, while also improving my own understanding, and ability to explain, the ideas which are being covered.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I think my strengths are a significant degree of patience, a good memory for stories that can help explain the content, and an ability to explain complicated concepts in history and science.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I think it is important that a tutor be able to explain a concept in a way that the student can understand, internalise and remember, while tapping into their passion for the subject, rather than strictly and laboriously forcing them to rote-learn concepts (with the exception of fairly simple ideas like times tables of course)
