What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to share my knowledge with others. I was very passionate about subjects such as maths and history during school and the opportunity to share what I know with others has always appealed to me. It is quite rewarding to be responsible for guiding a student to a place of better understanding and ability in any subject.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

In terms of specific strengths, I performed quite highly in mathematics and have always been able to help friends of mine and younger students with the subject. I achieved band 6's in both extension 1 maths and extension 2 maths in my HSC this year. More broadly I believe I have characteristics of a good leader and will be able to inspire confidence in my students. I am also quite patient, which I think is quite an important characteristic for a tutor to have, and will be willing to take time to carefully explain things.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to give them confidence in themselves and their understanding of the subject. I find that from confidence can come a wealth of improvement in performance, as a student's willingness to take risks and belief themselves can go a long way.
