What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I most enjoy about tutoring is certainly the chance that it gives me to pass my passion for learning onto younger students. I've always loved challenging myself and learning new things and for me this is something that I think every student should have the chance to experience. I also love working with younger kids and have consistently gone out of my way to engage with them. This has been not only through tutoring but volunteering, leadership positions at school and sports coaching.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor I think my strengths lie in my attitude. I'm encouraging, approachable and patient. I like to think that I have a good understanding of how best to communicate complicated and new concepts to younger students. Furthermore I acknowledge that different students require different learning techniques and that this also means a different approach to motivation. Treating each student as an individual and encouraging them to be their best is always my ultimate goal.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do is provide their student with the support and tools they need in order to become their best self and to maximise their potential. For every student this may mean something different. I believe there is a unique formula for every students success. The best thing a tutor can do is to uncover this formula and then work with it to provide the best possible support. Whether this be focusing on motivation, organisational skills, or more subject specific activities, a tutor should be flexible and patient with every individual need of each student.
