What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like teaching people and spreading knowledge, when I was in secondary school in China, students who took math Olympia all teach each other to have a further and deeper understanding of math. So tutoring math is a way to enhance my own understanding of math and a good way to spread knowledge. Also, economics is about the way the world works, the essence behind it, and the fundamental people's rationality. So teaching economics is also a spread of knowledge, which I enjoy a lot.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have been teaching my fellow classmates about math stuff for more than 3 years, and I know how to make people understand difficult content in an easy way and use all the verbal, graphical, and algebra ways to illustrate the problems. I am good at calculating and geometry, also have some methods for Combinatorics. For economics, I know all the mathematical tools needed, also I have a deep understanding of humanity and the fundamental presupposition of the Homo economicus. Also, I can explain the graphs and phenomenons clearly in all the verbal, graphical, and mathematical forms.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Teach them how to think independently, and provide them with a way of thinking efficiently. Math is not a discipline in which someone does enough problems and can solve all the problems, but a discipline that requires people to constantly think about questions. So if one only knows to let students do lots of problems then he might not be a good tutor, because when the students counter new problems they will still be confused.
