What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is that I love being able to teach and pass on my existing knowledge to my students. As compared to other jobs, tutoring is rather flexible in terms of teaching times. Not only that, I also like being surrounded by people or kids/teenagers who are younger than me where we can connect well and it is also a rather rewarding job that you can gain by making positive difference towards a student's grade.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am multilingual which I can speak 4 languages including English, mandarin, Malay and Cantonese fluently. Not only that, coming from a diversely cultural background, I have learnt to embrace different types of races and cultures. I can also communicate well with High Schoolers, fully understand their needs while playing the role of a tutor as a good listener as well as a friend whom they can put their trust on.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As mentioned above, I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is by improving their results by making a positive difference. However, being able to implement an interest towards the student on the subject that will allow him to gain confidence and minimise existing weaknesses is also considered to be important things that I think a tutor should provide towards the student. With that knowledge of the students weakness in hand, it is also important for the tutor to be able to personalise a learning style that will bring improvement towards the student.
