What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The core aspect that I enjoy most about tutoring is independence. Catering to my students according to their needs and having the ability to be flexible according to my strengths helps me understand what their needs are. Being independent with my tutoring timings have also allowed me to develop a connection and understanding with my students. My strengths as a tutor is being flexible with my teaching style and my teaching hours. One of biggest challenges I had to face while tutoring during lockdown was to understand that my students are exhausted from the workload given to them from school and finding out efficient ways to engage them. For example, one of my students enjoys his time gaming and spending time with his siblings. Understanding their likes and dislikes and finding alternate ways to make sure that my student is engaged and enjoying their lesson is my strength.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor should be able to understand the needs for a student and cater according to their needs. I believe it is important to understand that every student is unique and understanding that uniqueness will create a comfortable environment for them.
