What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

My favourite aspect of tutoring is socialising with new people, and sharing my perspective on a particular problem that they may face. More specifically, I enjoy solving issues that students face with difficult mathematical concepts, as they remind me of the problems I faced during high school and what I tried to do differently in order to better understand that topic.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have strong communication skills which play a significant role in tutoring. This will help me share my perspective of various mathematical concepts and ensure that students understand the topic well. Furthermore, my problem-solving skills also are very useful when it comes to difficult practice questions. These questions usually require students to think outside the box and are greater than purely calculations, which is why they must be approached with creative solutions.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As a recent student, I always valued tutors who can help students get a better grip on various topics whilst maintaining a fun environment. Whether this involved small motivational monologues when the students are copying down solutions or handy little tips whilst answering practice questions. These are the 2 main aspects that helped me differentiate between tutors, which is why I consider them to be very important as a tutor.
