What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to help people understand and grasp concepts, so that they can themselves enjoy these topics. I find great pleasure in giving people the knowledge to master and excel in what are their difficulties.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I have a very comprehensive knowledge of the methods and strategies, as well as the concepts and laws of mathematics, and a natural passion for the field. I am able to give a detailed and intelligible explanation of any mathematical concept or situation, making even a beginner capable of learning them. Although mathematics is my strength I am confident in also teaching English to primary school students. I have studied biology, physics and chemistry during my senior years and am confident to teach science to Year 10 level.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

To give to the student not only the knowledge of how a task is completed or formula applied, but an understanding of the logic in why this is utilised or possible. The ability to apply mathematics to a situation through the correct understanding of what needs to be done and what knowledge can be used to accomplish that end, is more necessary and powerful than memorisation of sterile methods.
