What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Developing a relationship with the student(s), and seeing their improvement and development as their knowledge increases. I also enjoy using my own skills to spontaneously think of different methods to explain a concept, catered for the student to ensure their understanding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I create an environment where the students feel completely comfortable to ask any questions they may have. Additionally, I often find that when students ask questions or have misconceptions, I understand the point of view they approach the concept/question from, making explaining the solution easier and more memorable for the student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Having both been the tutee and the tutor, I believe that it is imperative that a tutor is supportive of the student and caters their teaching to the student's specific needs. Tutoring is only truly effective when the student is completely engaged with the tutor and I believe that this can only happen when the student believes that they are in an environment that is best for them. Therefore, it is the tutor's role to create such an environment.
