What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is the moment when a concept clicks within a student, or they feel genuinely proud of their progress. It is fulfilling to see someone gain confidence in themselves in a topic after you help them. I also love the chance to make learning more personal and meaningful, adapting explanations and examples to connect with their own learning style.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am very responsible and reliable and can arrive to work and complete tasks early as well as make the right decisions regarding time and safety. I always have respect for everyone around me especially my younger peers. I also have and communication skills which I will utilise whether teaching one-on-one or with a group. I am supportive and hospitable to others as I tutor my younger sister who is currently studying Accelerated Maths Extension 1.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A great tutor should focus on building a student's confidence for learning by fostering understanding, critical thinking, and a safe environment for growth. By clarifying concepts and questions carefully step-by-step, tutors make learning approachable. Positive reinforcement for progress while setting and tracking achievable goals offers clear milestones and tangible progress.
