What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
High school can be a very stressful time, especially during Year 12 or for those who have trouble understanding difficult concepts. Tutoring is helping students overcome difficulties, gain understanding and confidence and therefore lower their stress levels. It is very rewarding to see a student completely understand a difficult concept or to see a student's stress levels drop during the lesson because they have gained confidence in their ability.My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I am very patient and aware that different students will require more time and more explanations to understand a concept. I'm compassionate and have empathy for students who are stressed because of their assessments and I am able to help students gain confidence which lowers their stress. I am very passionate about education and in particular Science and Maths, which means I am always interested in the topics I am tutoring and enthusiastic while I tutor.Most important things I can do for a student ๐
The most important part of tutoring is to make sure the student grasps a concept entirely and doesn't have any gaps in their knowledge before moving onto new topics. It is essential for students to fully comprehend a difficult concept as this will help them remember it better, gain confidence in the topic and lower their stress.
