What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is that it allows me to share my knowledge with students. At the same time, it enables me to hone my coaching skills to allow me to become more confident at my ability to impart knowledge to students. It allows me to see young impressionable minds to excel at school and at the same time enable them to become lifelong learners by taking a different approach to traditional tutoring.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor are that I take a different approach when it comes to studying. When teaching new concepts, I try to link my prior knowledge to what I am currently learning and this allows me to understand the content at a deeper level. Upon understanding the content, I try to simplify what I learned, and then try to teach others the different ways to solve the problem. I have an ability to understand students and tailor a study plan and a way to teach to what suits them best. Having a unique study plan for each student allows them to learn in a way they can enjoy and understand.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

What I consider the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is try to understand that each student is different and that the same study plan and method does not work for everyone. Different people learn in different ways, a tutor must try to understand each student and find ways to teach concepts in a way that is both fun and engaging. Upon the teaching of the concepts, the tutor must develop activities that allows students to test what they have learned. A tutor should enable a child to love what they are learning to allow them to become lifelong learners.
