What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Working with students closely, getting to know their strengths and weaknesses, providing tailored advice and academic support, seeing them grow both academically and personally.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
1. Strong technical background + flexibility: this means that I can simplify complex concepts and deliver them in a way that best fits different learning styles (including visual, auditory and reading/writing)
2. Strong interpersonal skills: means that I am in constant communication with students about their goals, where they are at and what they need help with. I can easily tell if a student is stuck on something but is hesitant to ask. I am good at dealing with these situations.
3. Patience - I understand that learning takes time. I have experience dealing with varying ability levels
Most important things I can do for a student π
To make the learning process fun and engaging.
Students come to tutoring for many reasons whether it be to catch up on their study or to study ahead. Either way, the tutor should make the experience of learning the context fun and exciting.
