What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to utilise my knowledge to empower learners. I find it incredibly rewarding to see students grasp new concepts and improve in the subjects they were once struggling with. Furthermore, I take pride in tailoring my approach to each student's unique learning style, which in turns make the lessons more interesting and efficient, while boosting student's confidence in their own abilities.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My greatest strengths as a tutor are my patience and empathetic nature.
Faced with students who find particular concepts hard to grasps, I would show my empathy by finding the reasons for their struggles. This understanding allows me to tailor my teaching methods to their unique needs. My patience comes into play as I persistently guide them through various examples and analogies, enhancing their visualization and comprehension of the concept.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think it is important for tutors to be patient and be able to adapt to every student's needs. This is because every student has different levels of understanding. Hence, it is important to be patient to create a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Signs of annoyance would greatly damage a student's confidence which would in turn demotivate them to study.
Understanding a student's preferred learning style would allow tutors to tailor their teaching methods to make the learning process more efficient.
