What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love the reward of seeing students feel proud of their achievements and growth as a learner. I enjoy getting to know the students and understand their strengths and weaknesses to help plan personalised tutoring sessions. I most enjoy seeing students gain confidence in topics that they previously found difficult.

I am very passionate and competent at Mathematics and aim to be a strong communicator to foster engaging, productive sessions and fully invest in the student's academic journey. I have excellent adaptability to ensure that the student's specific needs are targeted during the tutoring session through tailoring the content and teaching style. I am reliable, organised and love to help students achieve their academic goals!

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I prioritise fostering a positive, motivated mindset for students when they are tackling a difficult, potentially daunting, problem. I will equip them with abundant strategies for breaking down worded problems, applying previously-learnt mathematical concepts in unfamiliar contexts and mastering fluency and accuracy. I will ensure that I maintain excellent communication and transparency with students and parents about the child's academic progress, whilst consistently identifying and filling knowledge gaps during sessions to help the student thoroughly understand all of the content.
