What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the most about tutoring is seeing the fufillment of my students when they get that "ahh haa" moment when solving a particular challenging problem and feeling immense gratitude. I like tutoring because its fun as I'm able to discuss a topic which I'm most interested in mathematics. Furthermore, I also enjoy the gratification in helping others which I also hope my students would learn at the end. The best way to learn new things is to teach others.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Here are some of my key strengths: I'm able to empathise with many backgrounds of students. Having worked as a tutor at Kings and additionally before as a tutor in penrith. I've worked with students who did not have the same talent or diligence to learn and believe my experience will be valuable.
Furthermore, I'm great at what I teach specifically maths, which I'm currently studying in university and I have an interest in. I also believe I can act not just a tutor, but also a mentor, teaching them skills to kickstart for university when learning becomes independent.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
One of the most important things I've learned while being a student within a tutoring institute is to carry out my learning indepedently. This is most prominent when studying in university when tutors are scarce and its up to you to manage your time. Learning is also really important even in the industry, particularly in software when the world is changing and you would need to upskill yourself to be relevant. What I hope to tutor my students is to find learning to be enjoyable, always have at least something new to learn everyday.
