What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Imagine the 'ah' moment when students grasp challenging concept and gain confidence. It is incredibly rewarding and satifying my self-fulfillment. This doesn't just mean a reward to me, but also the evidence that the students have gained valuable knowledge.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Based on my passion on STEM subjects, and diverse academic background, I believe I can be a great tutor. Throughout my academic journey, I've been in touched with various curriculum from 4 countries. These opportunities enhanced me to involve in the AP exam, ARML competition and STEM project, which have further my enthusiasm on STEM. Additionally, my major in Data Science at UniMelb intersect maths and computing to let me understand maths in different aspects. Inspired by my own journey and achievements, I'm dedicated to nurture students' love for learning and foster their academic growth.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
From what I have seen, I would say a tutor has to instill love for learning and build a strong foundation for students. I was not good at maths and it was cruical to foster my academic growth without any support. Fortunately, I had a great tutor to nurture my confidence, motivation, and self-believe to enhance my love for learning, in addition to a strong foundation on math. Today, it's my turn to do the same thing, helping students to be an independent learner and helping them to overcome challenges and long-term success in their maths journey. With my patience and passion, I believe I can achieve all of these goals as a tutor.
