What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
When I was younger, I was the type of student to try and figure everything out by myself. While that worked for some concepts, there were those that I needed help understanding and I would be too nervous to ask in front of the class. So, I want to become a tutor because I know how frustrating it is having a gap in your knowledge and I aspire to be the one that connects the bridges.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm confident in my understanding of Mathematics Advanced and Physics but also in my communication skills and relaying that information in a way the student can understand.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Being able to read their body language and facial expressions. You need to know when they find something confusing because it needs to be addressed as soon as possible because it can lead to gaps in their knowledge and a misunderstanding on how the concepts come together. Furthermore, a tutor needs to go above and beyond for their student, whether that is curating a genuine interest in the subjects they study, adjusting lessons for their way of studying, and/or giving advice on the mentality of exam preparation and technique.
