What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I think I would most enjoy being able to help students to build confidence and belief in themselves, as well as the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives and help them to enjoy learning.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a kind, patient, and understanding individual, who would be able to empathise with students who are struggling to grasp concepts or who are becoming frustrated, whilst remaining calm myself. I have solid written and verbal communication skills, and am a strong listener, both of which would aid me in understanding where students are struggling and explaining difficult concepts in multiple ways. Furthermore, I'm enthusiastic and I love learning, which would aid me in bringing a positive, fun and non-judgemental learning environment to students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important things a tutor can do is to empower and build up the confidence and self belief of their students, whilst simultaneously helping them to enjoy their learning. This involves not only teaching students the set content, but also aiding them in developing their own personalised strategies regarding study skills, difficult problems and unfamiliar scenarios. In doing so, the student is able to leave the tutoring with the ability to continue to study on their own, and is more likely to achieve independent success on the future.
