What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the ability to provide personalized support to students who may be facing challenges. As someone who has had difficulty learning subjects like geography in the past, being able to provide that additional support to others who need it is something I enjoy doing. Every learner has certain strengths towards learning that may not be available to them in a typical classroom setting and being able to tutor them 1-1, might enable them to use their strengths better to learn effectively. Seeing the moment things 'click' for them is always a special sight.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor are the ability to maintain patience with students as i understand that every learner is different and struggles with different challenges and thus having patience is an important tool to have when tutoring. I am also always trying to build a strong rapport with people, getting to know them better to ensure they are comfortable in asking for help and explaining the challenges they face within the learning subject. Another strength is the ability to relate material to real life experiences to enable them to conceptualize material better.

The most important thing for me as tutor would be to develop a good Rapport with the student. This rapport builds comfortability with the student to ensure they are more comfortable in asking for help and explaining the sections that they are struggling with better. It is also important as a tutor to identify the learning needs and styles of the learner to ensure their practice is capable of providing them with the personalized help they require.
