What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
As a kid I struggled a lot with academics and would often feel beaten down by my inability to understand concepts or recognise when to apply a certain technique to a particular question. It wasn't until I found an encouraging and inspiring tutor that my outlook and drive for education really shifted. From then onwards things began to click and I became passionate about my studies and began hitting my academic goals. For me to be able to offer another student that enlightenment, relief and joy towards their studies, is truly what I enjoy most about being a tutor.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am incredibly dedicated, when I put my mind to something, I find a way to reach my goal. I know that I am very patient and understanding but also have an encouraging touch which motivates my students to feel like they are able to reach their academic goals; and for them to know that it is an admirable quality to work towards achieving something. I definitely feel my strengths are my compassion and nurturing spirit and my want to see others strive and succeed for what they really want or even for things they didn't know they could achieve.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
One of the most important things a tutor can do is to inspire students through education. The world of education is so vast and enriching, both primary and secondary school is a long journey and for my students to enjoy education rather than drag their feet through the process is one of my biggest hopes and goals. There are endless possibilities for each student in their future tertiary studies, jobs, lives and for them to feel strengthened and encouraged at the start of that tremendous journey is all that a tutor can ask and hope to give.
