What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like guiding students into the right direction when they apply different concepts to difficult maths problems. I enjoy when students improve their maths skills and learn from their mistakes. It also makes me happy when students are encouraged in their learning and are motivated to succeed further.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths of a tutor include my time-management between my studies and tutoring students, organisation skills, patience with students, willingness to help them and trying out different teaching strategies to benefit the students, and demonstrating effective and strong communication and listening skills.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think it is important for a tutor to really understand and communicate with the student about what they want to improve in their learning. When a student knows their weaknesses in maths then a tutor can target questions and concepts towards that area. This will help the student to benefit from the tutoring session and feel more satisfied, motivated and happy with the outcome. If a student does not their know weak points it is important for the tutor to determine these and tailor the sessions accordingly.
