What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love being able to teach and encourage kids to enjoy mathematics as it has been one of my sole interests from when I was younger. I feel a lot of people don't enjoy it like I do and that's why I love helping people out to show them how fun maths can really be.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my strengths would be my determination to helping the person I am working with, I feel that when I am dealing with mathematics, I am able to provide a new avenue of thinking for the student that they had never seen before, and I make it my primary goal to encourage them to do their best.
Another strength would be my ability to teach difficult and troubling concepts within mathematics and hopefully portray it in a much simpler way than they had previously understood it to be.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing for a tutor would be to listen to the student and understand their needs in the subject you are dealing with. The tutor shouldn't be demanding of the student, rather they should be there to help and encourage them to learn new concepts.
The tutor should never be hard on the student as that will create reluctancy from the student to cooperate with you, instead, you should deal with the student in a friendly manner in order to gain their respect and progressively help them with the content needed. All this is obviously done whilst teaching the content.
