What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
As a child, my mother was an amazing tutor to me in my school days and it helped me massively and hence teaching has been very personal for me. One-to-one teaching is something that interested me highly, getting to know how a child functions and helping them understand the concepts and love to be a part of their growth process as an individual.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I consider myself to fall a little on the Introverted spectrum, which makes it easier for me to connect with people individually, secondly I have great attention to detail, which I consider as one of my greatest strengths. I also consider myself creative since I had a knack for artistic pursuits like dancing, drawing and painting and mixing art with my career has made me more authentic and empathetic.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing that a Tutor can be is being someone that the student really looks upto, a mentor, a motivator or a leader. This is one important skill that would drive a student to learn from their tutor and be inspired in the right ways and in the right direction. Secondly, I feel it is important to give attention, provide students with enough explanation, new and interesting ways of understanding theorems, setting up weekly quizzes that can make them feel more confident and know where they stand and have an understanding of a particular topic and work on the same.

The session went alright. We were able to solve many problems. I was not able to solve 2 sums and we decided I will explain it to him next class.

I think Arvin needs more patience to go through the concepts together, rather than jumping from chapter to another chapter. Going through the entire concepts and then jumping to solving problems is a better way of understanding things in a more detailed way.
The session went pretty well. Arvin is a very sharp student and understood the concepts easily.
