What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to not only refresh my own understanding of the subjects I teach, but the potential to broaden my perspective by engaging in discourse with my students. I believe the greatest strengths a tutor can possess is the ability to align themselves to the individual students "frame." What this means is that the tutor should be able to determine exactly how to get the student to work as efficiently as possible. Every individual student has their preference and method to learn something with the least possible resistance; some may be visual learners, others may be verbal or written learners.
