What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Having the time to truly listen to what a student needs and wants to achieve academically. Also, seeing them build their confidence overtime so they can learn whilst also finding enjoyment in their school work.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Patience: I'm someone who would be more than happy to explain something multiple times and in different ways so that a student truly understands the concept. Adapting: To tailor content to an individual after assessing their weaknesses and closing the gaps in their knowledge. Responsive: I'm quite responsive in terms of replying to messages. I feel I would be able to maintain good communication between all parties involved.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that interacting with a student genuinely as a friend would allow for a more friendly environment. This would allow the student to feel more comfortable when asking questions. Helping an individual highlight their weaknesses and provide them some sort of feedback at the end. This way the student would have an idea of the concepts to go back to and revise. Setting realistic goals with a student and providing motivation to help achieve them. For example, this could be a certain mark they want to achieve or the amount of work they want to get done by the end of the week.
