What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

From my informal tutoring experience, I have enjoyed building trust and rapport with my younger sister; she feels comfortable enough to approach me no matter how simple or complex the question may be. Being involved in her learning and being able to provide such assistance is rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am fully committed to being part of a person's learning journey. As such, I value being prepared for each lesson and showing up on time. As I have just graduated from the new Queensland Atar system, I believe that I have a thorough understanding of what it takes to work efficiently to succeed and achieve results. I strive to show empathy and passion in maths, biology, and chemistry, towards any primary or secondary school student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A good tutor will help students develop the problem-solving skills necessary so that they are confident in their abilities when faced with a difficult question outside the session. A tutor should be there to guide the student towards their own conclusions, whilst ensuring all gaps in understanding are filled. Importantly, a tutor must provide a safe space to make errors and be attentive to each student's progression in their learning.
